Nuclear Science Merit Badge
Nuclear Science Merit Badge Learn the science and technology of nuclear science. The class will cover requirements for nuclear science 1-7. This includes the nuclear physics, radioactivity, health concerns, and medical and energy applications of nuclear processes. We will build nuclear models and perform experiments using radioactivity simulations. Scouts should complete part 8 (nuclear science careers) before class. Blue cards signed by the instructor at the end of class. Please bring a water bottle and snacks or lunch to the class. Recommended for 7th grade and up. Either Class A or B uniforms are fine. Blue card signed by instructor at the end of the class.
