Critters of the Ocean: Present and Past
Code: M-07 - Critters of the Ocean: Present and Past– July 20-24 9:30 am-12:30 pm
Ages: 6-10 years old (activities will reflect age of students and will be grouped according to their level with instructors and aides) (25 maximum number of students)
Explore ocean critters and where they live. Invertebrates will be emphasized as they are most likely to become fossils. Students will also explore the large mammals and fish that inhabit the oceans and what their remains look like. Students will learn that Fremont, Newark, and Union City were all under water 15 million years ago.
